The Challenges

The State University System faced significant challenges with credential verification, fraud prevention, and efficient processing of academic credentials across multiple institutions.

Solutions We Offered

JadeQuest developed a blockchain-based digital credential management platform with smart contract automation, providing secure, instant, and verifiable academic credentials. The solution was built on four key pillars:

Blockchain Credential Platform

We implemented an Ethereum-based platform for immutable credential storage with cryptographic verification. Smart Contracts were used to automate the issuance and verification process, while IPFS provided decentralized storage for the credentials themselves.

Digital Wallet System

We developed student-controlled digital wallets for credential management, available via mobile apps and web portals. The wallets were secured with biometric authentication, giving students full control over their academic records.

Verification API

A secure Verification API was created to allow for real-time credential verification by employers and other institutions. The system utilized RESTful APIs and QR code integration for instant, on-demand processing.

Admin Dashboard

A comprehensive management dashboard was provided for university administrators. It included an analytics dashboard for insights, tools for batch processing of credentials, and complete audit trails for compliance.

Implementation Process

The project was completed in 12 months over four phases. Phase 1 involved setting up the blockchain infrastructure and smart contract development (3 months). Phase 2 focused on platform and application development, including the digital wallet and APIs (4 months). Phase 3 was dedicated to pilot testing with three universities and training programs (3 months). The final phase involved a full rollout to all 12 universities, mass credential migration, and go-live support (2 months).
